Password unchanged? Use a static code
WiFi credentials in the pattern need no server: it still connects when the network or the service is down, and it does not use up the dynamic allowance.
Stick it where guests linger
Table stands, reception and bedside tables are the three placements with the highest scan rates; high on a wall is often out of reach and hard to read when printed.
Swap the old code when the password changes
A password is a security credential: once it changes, the old pattern has to come down with it, so nobody joins a network that is no longer in use.
