1. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and stable, but we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. For planned maintenance, or interruptions caused by force majeure or failures of networks and third-party services, we are not liable for the indirect losses arising.

Scanning a dynamic code depends on this service resolving the short link and rendering the landing page. If you need it long-term in a critical setting, keep an alternative delivery route as well.

2. Scan readability

Scannability depends on print size, material, contrast, lighting and the scanning device. We guarantee device-readable pattern quality through a generate-decode round trip, but not that it will read under every printing process and environment.

A static code carries its content in the pattern and cannot be changed once printed; a dynamic code can change its destination, but the pattern itself is subject to the same limits.

3. Third-party content and landing pages

Third-party sites, files and content you point to through the service are the responsibility of their providers. We do not warrant their legality, accuracy or availability, and we are not liable for your access to third-party content after a scan.

Short links we find, or that are confirmed to violate the terms after a valid report, are disabled. Disabling does not prevent further action against the account under the Terms of Service.

4. Analytics

Analytics are based on recorded scan events and resolution results. Region and device resolution may show "unknown" or deviations because of missing request headers, browser differences or proxies; deduplicated counts are decided by the hash of the same source on the same day, which differs from a count of real unique visitors.

Analytics are for reference; they should not be the sole basis for billing, settlement or legal evidence.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or punitive losses such as lost profits, lost goodwill or data loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

Where applicable law does not allow the limits above, the scope allowed by that law applies.
