Dynamic QR codes: printed once, still changeable

A dynamic code encodes only a qrhub short link. The scanner reaches the link first, and our service then routes them to your current settings — so the destination and the landing page can change at any time, without redoing the pattern you already printed.

What dynamic codes give you

Change the destination without reprinting

The pattern carries a qrhub short link, not the final address. Posters, packaging and table cards that are already printed stay as they are — change the destination once and the same code points to the new content.

Scans you can measure

Every scan is recorded: totals and deduplicated unique scans, the trend over time, operating system, country and city — with per-code detail and CSV export.

Customizable landing pages

Landing page templates for profile pages, business pages, menus, coupons, events, images, videos, PDFs and multiple links. Their content can change at any time too, with no new artwork.

Still optimizable after launch

Once the code is out on several channels, adjust the landing page and destination based on the data; the pattern on the physical material never changes, saving the cost and time of a reprint.

When to use it

  • Materials with a long campaign life whose destination may change (packaging, posters, booths)
  • Cases where the campaign needs measuring: how many people scanned, from where, and when
  • Cases that need a landing page to carry the content: menus, coupons, profile pages, link hubs
  • One code across several channels, where you later want to split or switch the landing content

Dynamic or static — which to pick

Will the content change later?
If it will, choose dynamic — a static code carries its content in the pattern, so once printed it cannot be changed; you would have to generate a new one and replace the material.
Do you need scan data?
Then choose dynamic. A static code never reaches our servers, so scans, regions and devices cannot be recorded.
Must scanning work without any external service?
If the code must keep working where our service is unreachable (offline venues, long-term postings with nobody to maintain them), a static code is safer: it needs no server to resolve.
Do you care about cost?
Static codes do not use up the dynamic code allowance (free accounts default to 5 dynamic codes, adjustable in the console); where the content is fixed, static is the cheaper choice.

Start your first campaign with a dynamic code

The 7-day trial includes dynamic codes and full scan analytics. Free and trial accounts default to 5 dynamic codes (adjustable in the console); static codes do not count against that limit.
